HMS Nelson

Nice postcard. Unfortunately the design of the 2 Nelson class battleships (Nelson & Rodney) left a lot to be desired. They were inherently unstable given their awkward layout and were never a match for the Bismarck class whose guns had greater range and accuracy and who could sail rings around them. Actually, the older Queen Elizabeth class were superior overall to them as well.
